A full set is also recommended when your previous set is more than five weeks old or too damaged to repair — starting fresh protects your natural nails and ensures the best result. A fill is your regular maintenance visit. As your natural nail grows, a gap appears at the base of each extension. Your technician fills that gap with fresh product, re-curves each nail, and refreshes the colour. A fill takes between 60 and 90 minutes and should be scheduled every three to four weeks.
